Consider Amplifying Your Content Marketing

Content marketing, by definition, is not meant to promote your brand (although it often is) but to attract and spark interest in your real estate services.

Right now, consumers (whether ready to buy or sell or ready to wait) want to be kept informed about the economy and the housing market and advice on how to solve the challenges of buying or selling in this market. Receive.

Blogging is one of the best and least expensive ways to accomplish this. Before you put your fingers to the keyboard, let’s take a look at some of the benefits of blogging:

  • Have a blog on your website? If you add content to it consistently, you can get 97% more inbound links than an agent who does not have an active blog. “Inbound links boost website authority, which is a major page-ranking factor.” (fundera.com)
  • Marketing advisory firm DemandMetric found that “… companies with blogs generate 67% more monthly leads than companies without blogs.”
  • Their research also shows that you will spend 62% less on content marketing than other forms of marketing.
Structure your blog posts for easy reading

Most of us have come across a blog post that strikes us like a wall of words. And many people will leave it for that very reason.

Blog content should be easy to read, so break up long paragraphs and create extra interest by inserting bullet points, numbered lists, and lots of white space.

The folks at SEMRush find that a bulleted list every 500 words generates 70% more traffic on average than posts that don’t have these breaks.

Then, resolve to add some spice to each post

Plan on adding images to each post. Types of attractive images include:

  • stock photos
  • Screenshots that help explain the content
  • article information
  • chart

According to the SEMrush State of Content Marketing 2020 Global Report, images in your blog posts are important for getting more traffic.

Blogging consistently during an economic downturn shows your website visitors that you are still engaged in the industry despite the downturn. It shows that you understand their concerns and are willing to help them.
