Leading Property Data & Analytics Company CoreLogic has acquired perchA digital mortgage technology provider.
In a statement on Wednesday, CoreLogic said, “By integrating Roostify’s digital mortgage technology platform with CoreLogic’s robust data, analytics and workflow solutions, customers will gain access to critical information about borrowers and properties early in the loan process, reducing down time.” And money will be saved for both.
Terms of the deal were not announced. Both companies are privately held.
In its statement, CoreLogic said that integrating Roostify’s mortgage platform into its network of data assets and workflow platforms will reduce errors and help streamline the mortgage process.
“Due to the limitations of when and how lenders receive data about assets and borrowers, errors and loan terms are not disclosed until much later in the process during processing and underwriting,” the company said. “CoreLogic has data assets and workflow platforms to quickly uncover critical information about borrowers and collateral at the point of sale. Errors and conditions can be identified quickly, resulting in a better customer experience, limited processing and underwriting costs and the ability to apply appropriate processing and underwriting resources to each loan.
